Two Bit Hero With Key (2022)
Dangerous missions, international cooperation and exciting discoveries await you on a fantastic journey to the Moon.
The bases are far, and can only be reached by rocket. It is expected that humans will begin to set up a permanent base on the moon in 2034.
This is a science project for grades 4th and 5th. Our teachers are expecting a lot from you! During the project your astronaut will participate in real training on Mars and Moon for a year, doing long and tiring drills.
Staying on the Moon requires cooperation of Russia, the USA, the European Space Agency and China, to the extent of human-engineering such a base.
The researchers are working on different techniques and methods that will help to provide the lunar base with a stable shelter, and will help make the project much less expensive and very complex.
The base of the project will be located on the lunar surface. And to get there, you will have to go through three different types of dangers:
The hardest part of the journey to the base is the descent from the high orbit. Therefore, you need to take into account all factors that can influence the speed and accuracy of the landing on the Moon.
The Moon base also needs to withstand the huge vibrations that are characteristic of space. Therefore, this base will have to be equipped with the most advanced technologies, special equipment and safe materials.
It is expected that the base will be supported by a strong structure, and the base will be equipped with airtight ventilation and power systems.
It is planned to deploy an important educational resource by the Base, which will be dedicated to the Russian, Ukrainian and international audience.
The project in general is a space mission with a crew of four cosmonauts, which will last one year. After getting to the moon, our space team will perform different tasks and experiments.
Requirements for the project:
Team members must be studying in grades 4 and 5 of school.
Students are expected to participate in a number of simulations and tests.
We are planning to have a collaboration with 3D artists and video game programmers to make the project more attractive to students.
The team is responsible for creating their own lunar base, the structure and the equipment.
It is recommended to apply to the students with strong space interests, as well as those who can benefit from a great deal of physical training.
