This collection contains a total of three patches in the Kontakt format. Each of these patches has several different parts to it. The first part is the preset, which is a velocity-sensitive setting that allows for great expression in the sample. The second part is the key. This is the note that you are looking for to play the sample, and the actual sound is modulated by the filter envelopes. The third part is the drum fill. This is where the part of the sample that usually holds the real main part is sampled and then played back with one of the drum kits. Each of the three drum kits were sampled at three different velocities so that the user can choose the sound as they would normally play it. Each of the drum kits has the option for the user to change the velocity to the one that they prefer.

Fast Chords and Full Chords may be what you have already learned using the piano, but do you know the five chords of CAGED?
Of course you don’t. And you shouldn’t have to, because they are just as easy to learn. But you may not have heard the chord progression CAGED.
Watch how Fast Chords and Full Chords allow you to learn chords by using a song that is familiar to you.
We are going to create a keyboard macro using the chords of CAGED. But we will first make a small chord progression that we can use as a starter.
Play along with the music that is playing in the tutorial.
When it is over, it will ask you for permission to make the pattern permanent. Do that and you will be able to use the pattern again in another lesson.
You should see the Keyboard macro button being created on your keyboard.
Now let’s play chords with this pattern and see if you can figure out the pattern.

How to Use your new Keyboard Macro:
In the Piano Player, use the keyboard shortcut,
K, to play the song that you just learned.
Use the keyboard shortcut,
K, to play the Chords that you just learned.
Play the Chords and then press the keyboard shortcut,
K, to play the Full Chord.
Try it!
If you need to change the Chords, press the keyboard shortcut,
K, to add the Chords and then press the keyboard shortcut,
K, to play the Chords.
